What to blog about? And why would anyone care to read it?

I sometimes struggle with what to write a post about. I wonder if anyone really cares to hear what I say, or my opinions, my experiences.  And why would they? I mean I not rich, or famous. I don't travel to exotic places or have outlandish adventures. I am not super healthy or deathly ill. I am just me. Regular, boring, average, me. But maybe that is the point.

Maybe there are a lot of us regular, average people living regular average lives just doing the best we can to get by. To manage our health, raise our families, find a little joy, work out our faith, and maybe take the occasional vacation here an there. Maybe we need to remember that when you think about it, an average, regular life is actually extraordinary.

Because, in reality, I am encouraged by people just going about their lives, trying to make their little corner of the world a better place. Probably because I can relate to that. To a mom who still worries about her grown kids, wondering if she raised them well. To a women dealing with health struggles and wondering how she will be able to be a good wife, friend, mom, sister, daughter and grandmother when her body seems to be fighting her at every turn. To the family that wonders how they will make ends meet when they are underemployed and inflation is high and health costs are higher. To the christian sister who believes with all her heart in her faith, but then sees the world around her and wonders if she has enough. To the person who finds themselves questioning, and learning and growing in their beliefs regarding social causes, movements and political parties.

So, I guess I will just post what is on my heart and mind and see if it resounds with anyone else. And if it doesn't' that's ok too. I find writing a good outlet regardless of how many other people read it and relate. Time will tell.

So, here we go, and if you have made it this far, and care too, drop a comment and let me know you are here. Lets take this journey together. And maybe my regular, ordinary life will bump up against yours and we can encourage each other.
