Love your neighbor as yourself.
Love God with all your heart, soul and mind.
Be kind to others.
Treat others as you would want to be treated.
Jesus loves all the little children, all the children of the world, Red and Yellow, Black and White, they are precious in his site, Jesus loves the little children of the world.
The good samaritan is the hero because he was kind, while the religious leaders were the enemy and unkind.
Love your enemies, and pray for those who hate you.
Vengeance is mine says the Lord.
Seek Justice, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly with your God.
Welcome the stranger. Feed the hungry. Care for the sick. Cloth the naked.
Turn the other cheek.
God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble.
Share. Be Kind. Seek forgiveness. Say your sorry.
Live in Peace. Consider others before yourself.
Follow the 10 commandments
Go into the world making disciples
Along with belief that Jesus is the way the truth and the life. The above teachings are what I remember from growing up in the church in Sunday School as a child, in youth group as a teen, and as an adult. The foundation of my upbringing was that Jesus was love, and we were to be like Him. Not just on Sunday morning, but every day.
What I seem to see:
Love your neighbor if they are legally here.
Talk about God
Be kind if it benefits you
Threat others however you want too
Love all the children, except those born to illegal immigrants.
The good samaritan should not have wasted his time, cause he didn't know if that guy was asking for it.
The religious leaders obviously had important business to attend to.
Hate your enemies and get revenge on those who hate you.
Vengeance is mine, I don't need to wait for God.
Seek Justice, if you are sure the person deserves it.
Love mercy if it shown to you.
Humility is weakness.
Welcome the stranger if they came the rightway, feed the hungry if you are sure they wont waste it, Care for the sick if they have the right insurance. Why are they naked, they should take more pride in themselves.
Slap the person who slapped you.
Seek out the proud and who needs grace anyway.
Keep your stuff safe, be kind if they can do something for you, seeking forgiveness is for wimps. Saying sorry makes you weak.
Live in peace if things are exactly the way you think they should be.
Think about yourself, its the only way to get ahead.
Post the 10 commandments.
Force everyone to follow your beliefs, whether they want to or not
I believe the foundations of my faith is what is causing me such deep grief and sorrow in the current age. Especially coming from the very top of our leadership structure, and people who claim the name of Christ. And the only remedy I see is to continue to live out those truths in my own life, to the best of my ability and hope it impacts people.
This one stings, because its so easy to forget who we are supposed to be, and how we are supposed to act, and why we are actually here.
